[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve tried Sally Hansen insta-dri products before and I’ve always been impressed by the quality of the product knowing that it’s more affordable. Trying this new chrome and glimmer topcoat in exchange for a review, I was still happy with the results. Went on easily and dried down without a problem (I did my nails when watching a show and didn’t pay attention to dry time but I usually wait a while before doing anything after nails). I only take a star off because, like any product with glitter pieces, it’s hard to get the pieces where you want it and sometimes one swipe gives you a little, other times it gives you too much.

Silk color is golden and not a pearly pink white as it suggests from the bottle. Even with multiple coats. I really like this line and the other insta-dri polishes I have. This color was not as described, or as I would imagine it though

Triple thread is a great color! I added this on top of 203 buff and tumble (tan/nude color) and it really popped! Make sure to use a good base and top coat - and it will last a week or more.

I wish they would show how transparent this is. Even after 4 layers, you can see through it. :( I would return it, but I don’t want to stand in line and drive all the way back to the store (gas) for six dollars.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I never write reviews but this product is horrible. I bought this because I needed something fast after chipping my gel nail, I wouldn’t be mad if it wasn’t advertised as insta dry. Maybe it’s user error but this thing would not dry, I kept having to wipe off the layer and reapply, even tried to do the thinnest layer, but the application was uneven and streaky. I was desperate for color on my nail cause I had a party to attend, I persevered. It came out ugly in the end, will be returning this product. Yes, it’s cheap but I wouldn’t even use it if it was free.

I wanted something subtle but classy for an event I was attending, and this nail polish shade was perfect (Triple Thread). I also purchased the white (Silk) and it was a great way to add a bit of shimmer to the tips of my nails. They both held up great (the attached picture is Triple Thread after 5 days).

I own quite a few shades of this polish, I love how fast it dries and it lasts awhile even without a top coat which is awesome. Also can usually get away with one coat which is nice when I’m in a rush!
