Beautiful colors!!

**Beautiful bottle, but poor durability and an essentially useless warranty** **TL;DR:** Beautiful special-edition bottle, but the metallic finish chips and scratches away, and Owala's warranty is practically useless if you care about the color you purchased. My defective lid was approved for warranty replacement, but Owala only offered a $6.99 credit for a replacement lid in a completely different color because they don't stock matching lids for many special editions. The credit didn't even work at checkout. I purchased the Special Edition Owala 30oz Stainless Steel FreeSip Sway in Wintergreen because I loved the specific color and metallic finish. Unfortunately, I would not recommend paying a premium for one of these special-edition finishes. The metallic finish does not hold up well. It chips and scratches away with normal use, which is especially disappointing on a bottle purchased largely for its appearance. My experience with Owala's warranty has been even more frustrating. I later had an issue with the lid, and Owala actually approved my warranty claim after determining that there were no signs of accidental damage. Their solution? A $6.99 store credit for a replacement lid. The problem is that Owala does not maintain matching replacement lids for many of its special-edition colors. When I checked, there were only three replacement colors listed for this model, two were sold out, and none matched my Wintergreen bottle. I was essentially told to choose a mismatched lid or wait "a month or so" to see whether another color I might like becomes available. There was no assurance that a matching Wintergreen lid would ever be available. To top it off, the $6.99 credit they issued wasn't even applying at checkout when I tried it. I specifically purchased a special-edition color because I wanted the bottle and lid to match. A warranty that replaces a defective component with a random color and permanently changes the appearance of the product is not particularly useful, especially when the company sells so many bottles based on their unique color combinations. The bottle is attractive when new, but between the poor durability of the metallic finish and Owala's extremely limited warranty replacement options, I would not purchase this particular special-edition model again.

Sigh. This water bottle had so much going for it. Easy to clean, elegant and simple mouthpiece design. Other water bottles are more cumbersome to open or clean, which is not good for someone with a toddler and baby, like me. But unfortunately this bottle is too heavy and easy to tip over. Less than a month into owning this, the water bottle fell from elbow height and dented at the bottom edge, in such a way that it no longer sits flat. My husband now calls it a missile since it’s so wobbly and could cause damage if it fell again, especially if full of water. I wrote to Owala customer service about the issue, and the AI reply was really thoughtful and actually sounded caring. The follow-up reply from the human Owala customer service representative was essentially “tough luck for you.” So I’m no longer a fan of the company. Their response told me they don’t stand by their products. One simple fall from this top-heavy bottle can make it a hazard, if you are taking care of little ones.

Great bottle but was shipped without any padding and arrived with small scratches and dents. Is not available nearby to replace it.

I was so excited for this but I believe it was stolen:( the picture of the delivery is showing a blank page in my end. Maybe someone else can see it. Anyway. I never received this item and am so sad! I filled the retune asap bc I warred I’d get stuck paying for something I never received. If someone has an idea where it would be pls lmk!

Love color size and feel

Loving that it fits in the cup holder and the color.

This green is my absolute favorite color. The size is great for a cup holder and the spill proof lid with locking mechanism means I can toss it in my purse and not worry about my kiddos knocking it over when out and about. The handle is sturdy and love that you can drink with a straw but it’s hidden for cleanliness. Just bought the maroon as a gift.
