Top-heavy and dented quickly
Sigh. This water bottle had so much going for it. Easy to clean, elegant and simple mouthpiece design. Other water bottles are more cumbersome to open or clean, which is not good for someone with a toddler and baby, like me. But unfortunately this bottle is too heavy and easy to tip over. Less than a month into owning this, the water bottle fell from elbow height and dented at the bottom edge, in such a way that it no longer sits flat. My husband now calls it a missile since it’s so wobbly and could cause damage if it fell again, especially if full of water. I wrote to Owala customer service about the issue, and the AI reply was really thoughtful and actually sounded caring. The follow-up reply from the human Owala customer service representative was essentially “tough luck for you.” So I’m no longer a fan of the company. Their response told me they don’t stand by their products. One simple fall from this top-heavy bottle can make it a hazard, if you are taking care of little ones.

I never thought I'd buy an owala, but when I saw they had a gold one I IMMEDIATELY purchased! I've been using it for a few weeks now and I can say I completely get the hype now. It keeps my water cold all through the day, doesn't leak, and has a convenient handle bar! It is truly high quality and I recommend getting one if there's a design that catchesyour eye!!

Besutiful Color, lots of Pros
Love this metallic color on the Wintergreen Owala. The extra lock on the lid is a great addition. The 30oz FreeSip perfect in my Tesla cup holders (most over 24oz don’t). The only con I see is that they recommend hand washing the tumbler portion to keep the metallic finish longer lasting. Not a deal breaker but annoying nonetheless.
