Q: Does this fit in a the car cup holders like the Stanley 40oz does?
A: In mi opinion ofcourse probably even better

submitted byJenn - 1 year agoA: It doesn’t standing up right, but you can flip it and put it in lid first. I usually just throw it somewhere though because it doesn’t leak.

submitted byYes - 11 months agoA: Hi!! The 24 ounce (or smaller size) fits perfectly, but if you buy the Boot, or the silicone bottom attachment, it does not fit, usually. Some cars do have larger holders though!

Q: Oh also, if you can’t open the lid doesn’t it get like gross moldy stuff on it after awhile since you can’t really wash the lid?

submitted byLucy - 5 months agoA: It says the lid is dishwasher safe. So you would take the lid off and put that in the dishwasher but hand wash the cup part.
submitted byLis - 5 months agoA: Yes, if you do not wash it well. You have to remove the rubber things inside the lid...You can also put the lid in top rack of dishwasher. They also sell replacement silicone rings.

Q: Does the 32 oz fit in standard cup holders?
A: Mine fits my Mazda CX5 cupholders. I added a silicone base to my 32oz Owala and it still fits.

Q: Are these tumblers leak proof? When tipped upside down like a BruMate Era?
A: YES! As long as the lid is closed and the handle is locked down, it will not leak, even if dropped. I lay it on it's side on my passenger seat and it doesn't leak, even when I don't lock the handle down. We have used several sizes and I've been using the same two bottles for over 2 years with no issues!

Q: A Question for us Non-Sippers out there : So, to chug with this water bottle you always need the straw in place or it can be removed to drink this way?
A: It can be removed to chug it but I keep the straw in

A: No, it does not fit in any of my sienna cupholders, even the larger ones
