[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toddler showed zero interest in this product. I also didn't find any appeal in this pillow maybe for another household but wasn't for us. The color was unappealing and there was not much we can do to use this as entertainment for us.

My son isn't familiar with it, so it didn't really hold his attention. The design is cute, with good stitching and a sweet little embroidered face. It's firm, more like a block of foam wrapped in fabric than a cuddly plush, so it's not ideal for kids who love soft stuffies. I do like that it has a velcro spot so it can connect with other Number Blocks, but buying the whole set would definitely add up. We tried using it to practice counting to 9, but the colors didn't pop enough to keep him engaged, and the overall look didn't feel playful or exciting to him. It's a neat concept for fans of the show, but probably not the best pick for first-time viewers.

Even something simple like numbers on the back would help keep little ones interested. It's not a bad toy, just not as interactive or educational as I hoped. I'd only recommend it for big fans of the show—otherwise, it might not hold a toddler's attention.

He seemed interested at first because it was something new to him. He hugged and played with the number block briefly. However, he never did count the blocks or show anymore interest in it. I currently have it sitting on his bed as decor. I probably would not recommend this to anyone with kids as it's very boring. You really can't tell it's suppose to help with counting. I would think by adding actual numbers or some type of color on each block would make it more catchy for a toddler to stay engaged.

By itself, it does seem like play might be limited since it is essentially just a stuffed toy. You could engage your child by asking them to count the blocks.
