Pretty good

Let me start off by saying I’m very much a stickler for cookie dough ice cream because it never seems to be right. But after two weeks of being sick, depressed, and in physical pain I needed to indulge in a whole pint of ice cream but did not want to risk a tummy ache. So this beautiful blue pint caught my eye and although I’ve never been satisfied with Halo or any cookie dough ice cream before, I thought I would give this one a shot. And oh my goodness am I so glad I did because it hit every spot I needed it too. The amount of chunks, 5 stars. The texture and flavor of the ice cream, 5 stars. The flavor of the cookie dough and chocolate, 5 stars. And best of all, no tummy ache! This ice cream deserves an award, it certainly gets one from me today for saving my day.

This is not what we thought

Halo Top Does it Again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been eating Halo Top Ice Cream for years and absolutely love almost every flavor they offer. Also, the fact that they are low calorie, high protein and yet taste so rich and decadent continues to amaze me with every pint I eat. So when I recently saw this new mix-in line, which marks an even more indulgent offering from Halo Top, I knew I must try it! Despite them being a bit higher in calories and fat, they still contain half calories of leading brands on the market today. I tried the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the creamy cookie dough ice cream combined with the chewy cookie dough pieces and chocolate chunks was incredible. The layers of flavor and texture can’t be beat. It definitely satisfied my sweet tooth and then some. Again, I love that they are a healthier option, which makes me feel good about eating them regularly.
