I buy several coffees in a supermarket and blend them at home to make my own brews. Folgers Black Silk is the foundation for all of my creations. It doesn’t disappoint.

I am an older 74 year old retired coffee snob. I never tried any Folgers coffee until this year when curiosity finally got to me and I tried the Columbian roast. I loved it! I then got courageous and tried Black Silk blend. I absolutely love it! It is rich and bold yet very smooth and not bitter at all. I also tried the Simply Smooth decaf and now drink that every day in the afternoons. All are very smooth, not bitter, and taste much better than most hoity-toity specialty roasts I have been drinking for years. I also tried the Breakfast blend and Gourmet Supreme but they dont seem to have the same characteristic as flavor the others have. I am still a coffee snob but these Folgers blends are now my daily go-to coffees. They just taste really great to me and some days I brew a pot of each in the morning just so I have a variety to savor all morning. Thank you.

Black Silk seems to have lost its rich, bold flavor. Time to start searching for a new brand. It’s just not what it once was.

Let me open with I love Folgers coffee. I also love other coffees of the same caliber. Black silk was my choice. Recently, I’ve noticed a change in the flavour. It’s not as bold, robust, and , and at the same time, smooth as it once was. It’s taste rather watered down, not as rich in depth as it once was. I lean. towards dark roasts, bold and rich in depth. What once was an amazingly beautiful flavor in your Black Silk coffee has now turned to an ashy disgusting muddled mess. I've been a Folgers girl on my life and drinking black silk since it came out. I will no longer be buying any of your products since they are twice the price for half amount of coffee and now tastes like crap.

Best part of waking up... I love the dark strong flavor of Black Silk. Its smooth without being bitter. Wakes me up in minutes. Good anytime!

This has been my favorite coffee and what I’ve bought for years, but for awhile now it’s been bad. It used to smell amazing and now smells like burnt like cigarette ashes, and you can taste that smell too. It also seems weaker, plus the price went up a bunch. I feel bamboozled, bring back my old delicious coffee.

I have been drinking black silk for a decade at least. The price has increased by almost half. With that the flavor is way off. It almost tastes like it’s getting mixed with decaf. It’s been several containers now. So I guess with the price increase they are cheaping out on the ingredients. Sadly, I’m going to have to find something else to drink.

I am 83 & have used Folgers Black Silk for quite sometime- I appreciate the canister , it’s easier to hold when you have issues with your hands. It has a level smooth taste & no after taste & I drink it black every morning. Thank you for your time. I really enjoy the Black Silk.

I'm not a coffee drinker but this one has made me one. Most coffee gives me heartburn; this one doesn't. I absolutely love it. It taste incredible. I've tried alot of coffee over the years trying to find one I like. Some other brands are dinkable but give me heartburn,even regular Foldgers.My Husband and I love this coffee; he isn't a coffee drinker either. We fund ourselves drinking 2 to 3 cups sometimes. We had a friend who is a coffee drinker try it and they were surprised how good it was..Pulp Fiction plays in my head.."that's some gourmet sh## Jimmy."
