[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first tried this in pod form and loved it. To this day this is the best dark roast I’ve ever tasted. This way a whole pot can be made to make more than a single cup. A pot, to ensure iced coffees all day. The scent of it brewing made my mouth water. The packaging is bright and peppy. My favorite part is the aftertaste it leaves! Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy trying Café Botello ground dark roast coffee. The brewing aroma is rich and both and it definitely fills the kitchen with that classic coffee shop smell the coffee bruise up nice and dark with a strong robust flavor. That’s perfect for anyone who enjoys a bowl cup of coffee. The ground had a fresh rich coffee of Roma when brewed and the flavor taste full-bodied rather than flat and stale, despite being dark roast, I didn’t find it overly burnt or bitter when brewed properly there is a slightly smoky roasted finish, but it adds to the boat flavor rather than overpowering it. Overall Café Botello is a great choice if you’d like your coffee, dark boat, strong and full of flavor. It has a nice balance of roasted flavor with them becoming unpleasantly burnt or bitter. I especially enjoyed it as a morning coffee when I wanted something with a little extra strength.

I drank it black and found that it didn’t need any creamer or sweetener - I enjoyed the flavor a lot. I did not use the “rich” setting on this brew and found this was extremely strong and a little hard on the stomach even with a normal, “classic” brew option, so that was the reason for 4 the stars, but overall a good rating as long as you are okay with something very intense!

There is a flavor that lingers after each sip— not a bad flavor, just a lingering one that I don’t usually get from my normal brand. I’d say the notes of chocolate and leather stand out to me, but others may disagree. I’m not sure of the value because I received the bag for free, but the packaging was sharp to the eye and overall the coffee was a good brew.

I love the rich flavor and well worth the slightly higher price tag than your Maxwell or Folgers. I buy the ground coffee for when I’m making a pot to share and use the pods when I just need a cup for myself. Both taste equally great and the best way to start my morning.

It is not bitter it is a smooth taste and leaves no aftertaste. You can leave it in the bag it comes in or you can put it in a container..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink coffee every day; I prefer a strong, dark brew mixed with condensed milk. Café Bustelo Dark Roast Coffee is the right choice, though the aroma isn't particularly appealing. The bag comes with a convenient tie to reseal it after opening.

It has a roasted , smoky taste and i like my coffee a little strong so this one works for me. The smell while it’s dripping is really good too. Perfect to drink every morning when i wake up.
