That being said, I am pleasantly surprised and grateful that through Influenster and Café Bustelo, I was able to give this a try. The flavor is amazing. I was already one of Café Bustelo’s biggest fans and with the decaf, there is no compromise to the warm, rich, and smooth notes of their original. This will be great to have on hand for when company comes over, and also to bake with, and those times late at night that an espresso would really hit the spot yet still want to be able to sleep after. I use brewed espresso in a lot of desserts and it’s usually the OG Bustelo. Not everyone can tolerate a lot of caffeine so this will be perfect. The price point is excellent, especially given the quality. Amazing that I get to try this and even though this review was product incentivized, this is my honest feedback.

This was my first time trying the Cafe Bustelo Decaf. I have been trying to get more into decaf coffee to limit my caffeine intake. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor of the decaf option. This will come in handy for those who love multiple coffee but can't handle the caffeine so late in the day. Is it as bold and rich as the original, no, but it definitely is much better then the other decaf coffee options which fall bland and watered down. This is a must buy for coffee lovers who want to limit their caffeine intake but still enjoy a good cup of coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice strong flavor. It is ground very finely, so it works best in an espresso machine as opposed to a French press or moka pot, which it clogged. Flavor is great: bold and strong, combines with the regular cafe bustelo for a great Half-Caf.

However I can only drink so much before I start to get the coffee jitters. This decaffeinated version is absolutely perfect to stop them! I love having the option to drink coffee all day but still limit my caffeine intake.

I’m not sure if it’s my taste buds today, if I didn’t put enough grounds in, or if it’s just really flavorless. I will try it again in a couple days and update this if it’s better.

So this decaf gives me the feeling I’m drinking my expresso and then I can sleep at night! If you’re looking for the taste without the caffeine I really recommend this Bustelo decaf coffee. Like the regular ground coffee, the decaffeinated kind is very rich in color. It smells amazing. Tastes amazing. Everything about this brand I love. Seriously sad I passed it up so many times in the store.
