The new blend has a bitter aftertaste. Tastes like cheap instant coffee😝. I've been drinking this coffee for a long time (years) and now I will have to return what I have left and shop elsewhere. A huge disappointment! Guessing the decision to change the coffee was based on making it cheaper to reap larger profits.

Best Coffee at a good price
This is my favorite coffee. I make pour-over coffee and drink it black. This coffee has lots of flavor that deliciously lingers on the tongue. I make it quite strong and it isn't bitter. It equals the taste of the coffee beans I buy at speciality shops and is much cheaper. It brings a little bit of delight to my mornings.

Best Coffee on western market. Real dark coffee. not slightly medium dark but dark. I living in an area that roasts own coffee but even thier expresso is just a medium blend. Havent had a good cup of coffee in a while. Now with companies placen more then caffine spray msg in coffee haven focus blends... its good to have a rich brownie like roast. You can make a torte with this blend. I miss the archer brand but this new lable is just as authentic.

Very good for pre-ground
I rarely buy pre-ground coffee, preferring to grind my own beans. But sometimes I like to mix a little Fr. Roast into my own fresh ground blend and this is the easiest way to do it on the fly. So I took a chance on this, and am very glad I did. The coffee is fresh, smells and tastes good enough to drink by itself, and does not have that barista-burnt quality we've all experienced. I would get this again, definitely.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but this coffee tastes burnt. Not like Starbucks “burnt.” I mean as if the beans were on fire at some point. Some of the Good and Gather coffees are fine, but I personally can’t even drink this.
