About this item

Highlights

  • Teriyaki done the Momofuku way. The soy-forward formula is built on the same culinary logic behind our restaurant cooking: savory depth first, sweetness second.
  • Works at every stage. Build a stir-fry with it, glaze with it at the end, use it as a dip straight from the bottle. The garlic and ginger base gives it enough body to work across any use case.
  • Less sweet than any teriyaki on the shelf by design. Brown sugar adds complexity and depth.

Description

Momoyaki is teriyaki, seen through the Momofuku lens. Instead of starting with sweetness, it leads with soy — a significant pour as the base, layered with garlic and ginger, and balanced with brown and cane sugar that add depth rather than just sweetness. Brush it on chicken thighs in the last few minutes of cooking and it goes glossy and lacquered. Build a stir-fry with it from the start and it goes deep and savory. Either way, the food tastes like you put in more effort than you did. Twenty years of Momofuku kitchen thinking, applied to a universally beloved flavor.
