Great for breathing problems!
I bought this to raise my head to help with breathing issues. I had been using an angled pillow, but it gave me back issues. This is much better! It is easy to forget you are even inclined.

Great quality product, very fast delivery
My wife and I both had issues with evening acid re-flux. My wife takes medicine that makes her re-flux so bad she has been sleeping in a recliner. I ordered King Size 7" high mattress elevator, unpacked it immediately. Installed it the 3rd day after it arrived. She has had only one night that she had to get up part of the night. Foam is strong enough for a thick and heavy mattress.
It ended up being 6.5" tall instead of 7" but its still fine for me. It is surprisingly strong. My mattress is 12" thick and heavy. The foam has not been squished.

Gentle incline
This seems to work quite well for me. It requires quite a bit of room initially to install, and the covers I also purchased were several inches too small. I returned them easily for a speedy refund. I used an old fitted sheet to cover the wedges and that worked well. I would recommend the bed wedge but not the covers…. Use an old sheet instead!

Avana 7 inch elevator is recommended
My 7 inch elevator never got above 6.5 inches at the head of the bed, and I had to untuck the protective cover to allow it to reach the higher elevation. It would never have been possible to have it expand with that cover on it. I have to scoot up several times during the night and pull up the covers, but my regurgitation is much better. The product works.

This worked for my husband’s snoring!
I was skeptical but this really worked for my husband’s snoring! I used to wake up at least 3-5 times per night to nudge him but no longer! Sometimes I do sort of slide down during the night but have gotten used to it. The uninterrupted sleep I have been getting makes it worth it.

I've struggled with acid reflux
I've struggled with acid reflux disease (GERD) for over fifteen years and have taken Nexium, then the generic Esomaprazole over all those years. I had no idea that a 4" lift at the head of the bed would help with minimizing the miserable symptoms of acid reflux. But, after reading Avana's reviews, I took a chance and ordered an under mattress incline elevator. I have been using it now for over two months and have not had a single bout of acid reflux. I phased out taking Esomaprazole in the first weeks and have stopped taking it completely about a month ago. I realize that everyone is different, but I highly recommend that anyone with acid reflux get an under mattress incline elevator. I was very surprised that a small 4" lift could be so extremely effective.

Easy to install
This bed elevator was well wrapped and a surprise when I opened it! But it was easy to get in place and is staying in place. The instructions said that it might have a smell (off gassing) but I didn't smell anything at all. I would recommend to anyone wanting a raised head of bed.
