Q: How does it connect? Is every part free floating or is there a strap or buckle or something to keep the couch in the configuration you want?

A: The modules are not permanently fixed and can be freely rearranged. The pieces connect by simply placing them together (no tools, straps, or buckles required). They stay in place due to their weight and the non-slip feet on each module. You can easily reconfigure them into U-shape, L-shape, or separate seating as needed. If you want extra stability to prevent shifting, you can purchase universal sectional connectors (metal clips or hook-and-loop fasteners) separately and install them discreetly under the seats.
