I bought the chair because it was on sale. After assembling, I realized there were issues with it: 1.) The threading on the side of the backrest came undone. 2.) The holes where the armrests are inserted were misaligned, causing one side to inch more forward than the other. 3.) The chair didn’t feel comfortable and the durability felt questionable. I initiated a return and proceeded to take the chair apart. But no matter what I did, I could NOT dislodge the gas lift cylinder from the chair’s base. There was no way to package everything back into box with that component stuck as it is. I ended up canceling the return and am now stuck with a defective chair that I HATE. If you’re looking for a chair, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
