Jockey Women's Rib Tank 2XL Black

What happened?! I used to buy these tanks all the time. They always felt soft and comfortable, with light support and nice fabric. Now they are super thin and flimsy, with no support whatsoever, even if I size down x2. The fabric is now see-thru in the lighter colors and just stretches out and looks dumpy. Horrible! I don't understand why they ruined such a great staple piece. I guess after 30 years, I'm no longer a Jockey customer.

Fit is fine, but it is so LONG! It comes down below my butt!

I didn't love this. Returned it because I found the fabric too thin for these light colors. I felt like finding a discreet bra to wear with it would be near impossible.

I like the green color of this tank. I was looking for a sleep shirt for warmer nights and this should be perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought these great tank tops for a number of years now. What I really like about these tanks is that they are nice and long. I wear the tank tops under my every day shirts and tuck them into my jeans, and the length is really great because my body type is very curvy on the bottom, and the long tank tops prevent my backside from showing when I bend forward, or bend over, etc. They also offer really great colors, so I enjoying checking in a couple times a year to see what the new colors are, so I can add a few more colors to my wardrobe. My only complaint is that the lighter colors of these tank tops are a little thinner than the other tank tops I have, so I can't really wear them on their own, as they are kind of see through. But for me that isn't a big deal since my main use is under other shirts. But for some reason the darker colors are not see through (just the whites and pale colors are). I also wear them at night, to sleep in, under my PJs, as I get cold at night, and I like to be warm and comfy. Love these tank tops!

This is a pretty good basic cotton tank, especially at the sale price! It is extremely long as shown in the picture, but I plan to use it for loungewear so it works for me! I just wish the other basic colors (white, black, nude) were on sale also!

Jockey, I love these tanks, but can you please find another way to adhere the tag other than the scratchy little tag on the back of the neck? It's a real pain to try to get these all the way off. Perhaps another type of fabric or a way to print it on? Otherwise this review would have been 5 stars.

Love love love these tank tops!!!! They fit great and are very flattering. I purchased a large. For reference I am 5’4” and weigh 132 lbs with an ample chest and they fit perfectly.

The rib tank shirts have added the extra layer of warmth needed during the recent frigid temperatures. I appreciate that they wash & dry easily, and I like that there are colors available, not just white. Sizewise, I ordered one size larger than I normally wear, and it fits well.

I own 8 of these tanks, I have an ileostomy and this tank is the only one that is long enough to cover my ostomy pouch. It fits snug and retains shape all day.

Have ordered these in size large several times in the past. The armholes are way too small and cut into my armpits. The material is also soft and is very scratchy. Something has changed.

Super long and runs small. Ordered plenty of these in past but the sizing has changed a lot.

The tank is much, much, too long. It covered my underpants.

I purchased several of these in different colors this spring. A couple of them were soft and absorbent so likely cotton fiber. The others were neither soft nor absorbent. some of this fabric feels and acts like recycled plastic has been incorporated into it. Not good. The fit is good--good length for layinger. these are not designed to be loose fitting. Comfortable enough unless you happen to buy one of the NOT cotton colors. Purchased them for a trip and needed them so did not return them but i don't trust Jockey to tell the truth on fiber content anymore.

These ribbed tank are great for under a shirt or for working out. Good material and hold their shape.

I adore this tank, and have already purchased 9 (2 initially a few months back, and then 7 more when I decided this was my new staple and I never wanted to be without it). I can guarantee that I will be buying more as soon as I feel it is reasonable to expand my stockpile. These are form fitting without being clingy. They have enough texture in the wide ribbing to smooth out bumps and make you less self conscious. They have a long length that can be long enough to cover camel-toe or just make your torso look longer. The neck is low enough to be attractive without being unprofessional. The arm holes are large enough to allow your armpits to breathe and not chafe. The fabric keeps its body without stretching out after a whole day of wear. The fabric also hides sweat well. Well, for aesthetics and sweat concealment, this is all in reference to the black ones, but I basically live in black tank tops every day of my life in my blue collar job, so I’ve noticed that a lot of other ones still show off sweat, cling, or accentuate bumps and things despite the color. This one is PERFECT (once I take out every last remnant of the tag at the back of the neck). I tried the all-cotton one that other reviews seemed to prefer, but this one is FAR superior except if you strongly prefer the feel of cotton fabric. The cotton one was shorter, less form-fitting, had a higher neck and smaller arm holes, stretched out within an hour and bagged out around me, and would show sweat incredibly obviously. Hands down, I’m all about this version of the tank.

I’ve been buying these tanks for a few years now - I sleep in them, do yard work in them, and use them as a base layer. I love that they are fitted (no gaping), cover bra straps, and are long enough to look good on my long torso. They hold up well in the washer and dryer, too.
