A: No, the footrest on this chaise lounge does not adjust separately or lower to an angle. It remains fixed in place while only the backrest is adjustable."

Q: Does anyone know if the wood stain runs? I saw this complaint as a general concern on other similar chairs. I need these for our new grey wooden deck, and they may be exposed to rain. Thanks!

A: The stain should not run. Additionally the furniture should be covered when not in use to prevent accelerated weathering.

Unfortunate that these didn't withstand a few months of summer
I bought two and I was very excited about them as they are great looking but several of the wood slats warped on both chaises very quickly and they are now my most creaky & delicate outdoor chaises... after just a few summer months. The cushions repelled only the 1st light sprinkle but after the first heavy rain, any "repellant" was washed away and they are giant heavy sponges when it rains. I have other cushions that get drenched (if I forget to bring them in) but they dry quickly so it isn't as unfortunate as when these cushions get wet. I do not reccommend this purchase unless you treat them with something immediatley to withstand water and sun.

Limiting exposure to the elements by covering with an outdoor furniture cover while not in use will prolong the life of the product as detailed in the product guide.

Solid chair, easy to put together, great addition to my patio!
Great lounge chair. I spent a lot of time researching and ultimately went with this one because I wanted something that came with cushions, was comfortable, and reasonably priced. I despise furniture assembly and put this together myself - directions were clear and everything was labeled. The hardest part was getting everything out of the box because the chair was packaged so well. I purchased it in gray and could not be happier because it goes so well with my existing black/brown patio furniture.

Wonderful chair
The quality of this chase lounger is amazing. The wood construction is solid and the cushion is a great quality as well. It wicks the water and dries very quickly. Great item!
