A: Hello - this plug-in design uses an uno shade which attaches with a socket ring and is held in place by the bulb. As a result, it's very easy to get at the bulb if you ever need to replace it. Hope that answers your question, thank you for asking!

This lamp is so cute and looks very modern.The quality is excellent,installation is super easy. It came very well packaged in the box,no damages. I am very happy with this purchase. I feel it's a little small for the bedroom with vaulted ceiling but it's my personal opinion,my family really liked it.
