When you get a good one, it’s great!!! But unfortunately this item does have some quality control issues as others have stated. I’ve ordered 3 separate lamps, and about to order my 4th. Of the first two I ordered, one was perfect! The other was broken so I returned it. The replacement’s shade was almost a totally different color from the one I kept - much lighter and not as much texture, if that makes sense. The holes for the mounting bracket were also crooked, so I had to put the bracket on the wall at an angle rather than level for the lamp to sit straight. Not a huge deal, but I’d already installed the bracket before I realized that issue, so just annoying to have to change. About to order a 4th to try to get a shade that matches one of my other two! Overall a really beautiful lamp!! Just frustrating to have to jump through hoops to get two that match and aren’t broken :/

Elegant and affordable sconces, whether you want to hard wire or use the built in cord. We had the same issue as other reviewers with the base not sitting flush against the wall; it’s the green ground screw in the mounting bracket! Simply back it out a little more and it will not stick out as much, making the base nice and stable.

This sconce is absolutely gorgeous! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and I (not an expert) was able to assemble and install it without help in about thirty minutes. It’s sturdy, classy, and a total vibe tbh. I love it.

Beautiful and relatively easy set up! Looks very curated and something you would never guess came from target at the price. Couldn’t be happier with the purchase!

For a $69 sconce these are beautiful. We wanted a placeholder until we could buy from Rejuvenation, but I don’t know that we’ll be changing them out. Installation was a breeze and they both sit perfectly flush to the wall, I’m not sure what other reviewer issues were, I wouldn’t have been able to keep them if they weren’t securely up against the wall. The scalloped shade is the icing on the cake that keeps them from looking generic. They’re larger and more substantial than I thought they’d be. It would take a miracle to get the cord to hang as straight as in the photo. We bought cord stays from Rejuvenation and they help, but we’ll see if over time they fall straighter. We wanted to give plugin sconces a go before going to the trouble of putting in electrical for hard wired options. That’s the only way I could love them more—no cords.

The mounting strap is not level— poor quality control

Beautiful in person, especially the shade it looks much more expensive than it was. However the plate that goes on the wall is extremely crooked and doesn’t sit flush. I thought it was just my wall not being flat but i put it on the table and it teeter totters. Terrible construction for mounting. We had already drilled the holes so I left it but I’m not thrilled with it.

These sconces are beautiful but were a nightmare to install. The base was totally crooked to the lamp and we had to loosen the nut in the back and adjust them to be straight. Then the sconces did not sit flush to the wall at all. The lamp base and mounting bracket don't line up correctly. They're stuck in our bedroom wall now but I'm not thrilled.

Love the pleated shade. The gold part ia a beautiful brass look. Extremely happy with these sconces. East to install. Came packaged really well.

First of all this is a darling lamp. It’s so nice looking. The shade is so much prettier in person too. The exposed wall cord is braided and looks great. I was going to use two in my bedroom and actually unboxed and got the first one out and ready to install. That’s when I noticed where the on/off switch was located. It’s way up underneath the shade up towards the bulb. I don’t have large hands and it was tricky to maneuver and would have been near impossible while sitting in bed. If you get these consider placing them on a smart voice or app controlled outlet unless you have 10 inch long fingers. It is being returned for something more functional. (Also inspect your lamp for flaws. You can see two small nicks out of the box even though the lamp was very well packed. Pretty noticeable when the light was turned on.)
