This light is excellent! I hesitated to order it after reading the reviews but I'm so glad I did. The one I received was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. I installed it myself and I'm not handy at all (67 y/o female). I needed more light in a walk-in closet and didn't have a plug. The ceiling light has LED bar lights with black metal so the black color in this coordinates perfectly. The backplate attaches securely to the wall and the magnet that holds the bulb is strong. The remote works perfectly. It's an amazing light, especially for the price. I highly recommend it.

Love this light! Aesthetic at a great price. It was a bit tricky to install, but definitely worth attempting and not impossible. The remote is a nice addition with the timer and dimmer capabilities. Came packaged well, was secure and wrapped. There were a few nicks on mine, but they are barely noticeable and at this price point for a picture light, I’ll take it!

Excellent Gallery Light- Positive Review!
I decided to purchase this, even after reading all of the negative reviews. It appears there is some confusion on how to hang this light. There are two small gold screws on each side of the base that you can remove to easily screw the back of the light fixture onto your wall with ease then you just put the top of it back on and screw the gold screw back in. It took me less than two minutes to install. People that were complaining it arrived bent where the arm that holds the light was…. Mine was slightly off centered and all I did was turn it with my hand, and it easily went straight. The light arrived very well packaged in lots of bubble wrap and different pieces of cardboard to protect all of the parts. There was no damage whatsoever. I love the fact that the light is rechargeable and it shows a green light when it is fully charged. It has three options for different lighting, and also has four different timer settings if you want to set it and forget it. The fact that it has a remote is a bonus. The light is easily removed and put back up with its magnetic attachment. I am only 5 foot two and I do not even have to use a ladder to do this. I just take it off charge it and put it back up there. So I do not see any cons to this light except for yes eventually you do have to recharge it, but that’s what you have to do with all rechargeable lights. It looks nice. It’s easy to set up easy to use and has a lot of different features where you can customize it the way you want. It also has an option where you could have 50% of the light or 100% of the light and if that isn’t good enough, there’s a - and a + where you can adjust it beyond that. This is an excellent light for the price point and I would highly recommend it.

TERRIBLE! Nearly impossible precision required to hang. Returning!
TERRIBLE! It looks cute and seems like it would function well, but *GOOD LUCK* getting it on your wall! Getting the screws in the right place apparently requires the precision of a brain surgeon. We've made two templates using cardboard, both times putting the screws through the cardboard and then into the back of the light fixture to ensure we were accurate. Both times, once the screws are in the wall, the fixture won't fit over the screws. We've been working on this for 2 hours. I'm so disappointed and can't believe I've wasted this much time on this junk. At this point, I think I'll throw it back in the box, get out the spackle and paint (to repair this poor wall), and return the mess to Target store. (For some reason, even though I bought it online, I can only return it to the store.) I feel so frustrated for the time this has stole from our day, and the damage it has done to the wall! The instructions start by saying they've made it easy. If they really wanted to make it -- well, not a nightmare at least -- they could provide a cardboard template, or even a flimsy paper template, that could be used to find the exact placement of the screw holes.
