Palladia Computer Desk and Hutch - Sauder

I ordered this from the military exchange and received this yesterday. As my husband pulled all the pieces out, he noticed that two corners were damaged in shipping. He still put it together because it wasn't easier than trying to return. I wish there was a remedy, but i love the desk anyway.

The hutch had a ding or two, nothing major. It was missing a part of the backing for the hutch. It was sent out immediately when I called for it.

This is my second home office desk from Sauder. My first one was destroyed in our move to our new house. I bought the exact same model as the first, because I liked the quality, the look and the ease of assembly. I wouldn't hesitate to by any product from Sauder in the future.

This desk is so sturdy and a great piece of furniture.

The front of the desk had scratch marks about 7 inches long. Didn't realize it till almost done. Overall I think it's a nice product.

I loved how this Desk with Hutch assembled and the very detailed instructions included. Loved the dark cherry wood grain and beauty of this furniture after assembled. This was purchased for my wife and she absolutely loves it.

There were a lot of steps to construction but not overly difficult. It does require two people to assemble. Also a 2-3 pieces were not marked. I am happy with the purchase.

Quality much improved from my old Sauder office furniture. Would like to see a shelf at the back of the foot area to place surge protectors, router, cords, etc. to keep them more invisible. Design is very nice, however, cubicles at top aren't tall enough to hold a binder due to the design of the headrail encroaching down into the cubicles. Missed it by about an inch. Overall it's a very nice looking desk and matches my flooring very well.

This desk is stunning in person. Took two of us to put together and we made it an all day event taking our time. Very well made! I love the smell of the wood too. Perfect in my new home office.

We are 77. It took us a few days to put it together. We got to the very end, and had some pieces missing. Contacted them, they sent parts, but turned out to be wrong parts. Contacted them again this time the correct pieces were sent, and came faster. When it was finally together we love it. We didn't have much space to put it in, but it worked out very nicely. Glad we bought it.

After putting my desk together, I could not believe how impressive it looked. The price was excellent and also bought the file cabinet and 2 bookcase's. Makes my computer room look great.

We bought a set for my daughters room and as always, Sauder products go together perfectly and are solidly built.

Only reason I gave 4 stars was we had to get a neighbor involved to help stand the unit up. Too heavy for me to help my husband. Did not realize that when I ordered it, but nice piece of furniture!

This product is comparable to units four times its price in furniture stores. Sure I had to put together, but I'm retired and have nothing but time. Great manual, easy to follow directions and great tips! Would definitely buy from Sauder again!

I will use this desk daily. It is attractive as well as convenient and with good storage.

Two pieces of my product were damaged when taking out of the box. The desk looked like it would be such a beautiful piece of furniture online so very upset when seeing the damaged pieces.

I replaced a 20 year desk with thhis desk and I am very pleased with the outcome of this desk! This desk had a lot of paets and took awhile to assembly (I am 80 years old and it took me 3 days to assembly). The only problem I had with the assembling was that in two steps; there was a place that had two metal pins that had to be installed with two hidden cams and they would not line up. I could only install one metal pin at each of these points. Also, this desk is very heavy (approx 200 lbs) and was at times hard to move; but I did make the moves. One thing to note: please check where you will assemble the desk and the final location of the desk. I laid out the desk on a floor plan in my computer and if I had assembled the desk in the room that I want to, I would not have been able to get in the final location. I assembles part of the desk and moved that to the final location and finished the assembly there. After I completed everything I did figure a way to get it out of the final location by standing the desk on end and on move it on the hardwood floors through doors and into the large living room. If you follow the step-by-step instructions, you should not have any problems. When it's completed, you will have a quality desk and something you can be proud of.
