500 pound weight limit STATIC! Dynamic weight limit 225, meaning if you wiggle and move the limit is 225 pounds. If you stack items totaling 500pounds ( say a vacuum tube tv ) then it can support the 500 pounds of non moving material. I weigh 400+ pounds, sooner or later this stool will collapse with me on it.
