Looks nice but not sturdy.
Overall, I really like the shelf and how it opens up the corner of my room. I have a funky corner in my living room that doesn't really fit a cabinet because it's too close to the entertainment center so it looks like too much furniture. So having a ladder shell or any open shelf there looks much better. So when I put the shelf together, one it's not very sturdy it wobbles very easily so I definitely had to weigh it down a bit with items. I found it didn't make a difference if I anchored it to the wall or not it still slightly shakes and seems to slightly lean to one side. Not too noticeable but once you notice it, you notice it. It did take several attempts to figure out a way to lean it against the wall, so the gap going down the back of the ladder wasn't too huge on every single shelf. I did find that not all the shelves fit solid against the wall, really only the first and second, and after that there space going down the back of it. So this affected what items I did put down on each level of the shelf. But overall, it does look really nice. It just has to be something you wouldn't mind. It's my first ladder shelf so it's a good kind of test to see if I would like the style and I may later on get another one later on down the road that I see in person first.

Wish It looked better
It looked sooo nice…in the picture! I was excited to finally buy a leaning ladder bookshelf. I’ve seen these and have the perfect spot that it would have looked so nice in my living room. I unboxed it, the metal poles were nice & they were very easy to put together. The shelves which were real nice looking, by myself were tricky to put on. Balancing it to put the screws in. In all not very difficult to put together. After all that, it’s crooked. It does not line up evenly against the wall. One of the poles doesn’t sit on the wall. The top shelf didn’t touch the wall. The second shelf sits perfectly up against the wall. The 2 bottom shelves touch the wall on one side and not the other. I returned it, still put together.

Amazing Ladder Shelf
This ladder shelf was just what I needed to fill in an empty corner in my living room! It's made out of high quality material which makes it extremely durable. It also very pleasing to the eyes. It can fix a bunch of my snacks on it, plus it's super easy to build! I definitely would recommend this!
