A: when i read the response to the first person that asked this, i nearly fell out of my chair! anyway, under specifications, it states the shade an be mounted either way.

Fabric defective.
This was my second time to order trying to get a good set of 3. Again, these had rust-colored threads woven in with the white, even when I requested that they be checked before shipping. They look dirty. Disappointed because otherwise they would have worked well!
