First of all, the are stunning farmhouse lamps. I adore them which is why I am so disappointed that after a few years they are terribly bleached out! I didn't read in the description that they should be in "covered areas", not in the direct sunlight. They lamps if you have a covered area.are on the west side of my house which gets a ton of afternoon sun. It's really my fault so I would but these
