Good but overpriced
The asparagus itself is generally good. Occasionally you get some that are very thick and woody but most of the time they are thinner with a better texture. The problem is the price here is always substantially higher than elsewhere. And that has been getting worse rather than better. So far this year other retailers routinely have it on sale for half the price here.

Purchased on Thursday, opened on Sunday to prepare for guests, hit with a terrible decomposing smell! They are rotten!! I’ve purchased bagged fresh asparagus at another retailer many times and never once had a problem. Now, reading the reviews, I see this is an ongoing issue at Target. Very disappointing and it left me scrambling for a side dish for my Easter dinner. Will never purchase fresh asparagus at Target again.

Purchased for pickup and the shopper did a horrible job. The tips of the asparagus were slimy in the bag. Had the shopper looked at what he/she was grabbing they would have known better.
