Its just okay
Came with a broken lock, cheap material. Like that it comes on wheels and decent size.

Spacious trunk to pack granddaughter college items.
We were able to pack a lot of items for our granddaughter to go college in it. Absolutely love that it has wheels on it. Our granddaughter is able to store under her dorm bed and she able to leave some items packed in it until she needs to pull them out for usage. We're so glad to have made this purchase.

Not Your Mamaw's Trunk
My mamaw always had one of these trunks in her closet to store stuff she wanted to keep safe and locked up. I always wanted one and finally decided it was time. Well....this is not at all like my mamaw's trunk. I guess they have redesigned the whole thing to make more of a profit but I think they went a little to far. The handles used to be leather but are now plastic which I'm sure makes the handle more durable but harder on your hands when you go to move a full trunk. The useless push-button lock is still just as useless now as it was back then but instead of being metal is now all plastic. I remember the hinges on the old ones used to always eventually come off from the weight of the lid, but it looks like they might have tried to make improvements. We shall see. The paper lining is a whole other issue. I ordered the 30 inch because the only 31 inch target had online said it didnt have that lining. Ever spot that a rivet is placed there is a tear oin the paper lining. Had I known that I would have just ordered the bigger size without the lining. Also, the metal on the corners seems different than the old ones I remember. The one I received looks like the metal was tacked on and then hammered down to form it to the trunk corners. For some reason I remember them being smooth corners but I may be wrong. For $90 (SALE PRICE) I dont think they are worth that much. The metal seals even have big gaps on the corners. I know its not air tight but isn't the seal the point of the whole thing? Anyways, I think I would have bought this if I had known how low the quality of it had gone down.
