A: Total amount will vary depending on individual potting/planting needs. Tomatoes, for example will require more dirt as their roots grow long and deep. It's best to consult local nursery or garden retailer for proper requirements. On average 4-5 50lbs bags should be adequate.

Assembly with a drill took 90 minutes, not 45 minutes, as stated in the description. Required tools include a drill, not just a Phillips head screwdriver, as was stated by Target Guest Services. Planter is untreated, needed to purchase Tung Oil to treat. Planter has no beds. Worth maybe $50, I paid more than triple. Would not recommend.

Nice planter but unlike the smaller version this one doesn’t come with caps for the legs or a liner, so the dirt falls out. Manufacturer sent me back to Target for replacement parts but no online option to deal with this. Why Best Choice Products won’t send the parts is beyond me…the thing is useless without the liner. It’s fully assembled now too, so returning it isn’t an option. Too expensive to have this poor level of customer service. Not happy…
