TENCEL® Quilt - Threshold™

The color is gorgeous in store. When I got it home, I washed it according to the instructions and it faded A LOT! I don’t know if it comes through in the photos, but it now has almost like a white “fuzzy film” on the top of it like maybe the whole comforter was just white and they dyed it the pretty wine color and when I washed it, a lot of the dye came out. It’s still soft and it’s just for the guest room so I will keep it - it’s good enough. I already threw away all the packaging or I might return it. I would not buy it again, however. And it makes me question buying Threshold products in the future. There were also TONS of loose threads I had to cut off from the edges unraveling- just after this one wash. Very disappointing.

I think all these negative reviews are crazy! I love this quilt so much. I did wash it on gentle cycle and hung to dry so I feel as that will probably help sustain its life. But I definitely recommend this quilt!

Extreme discoloration after one wash with cold water using detergent for dark colors.

What do I LOVE? The color! Granite is a dark blue gray with a green undertone. When I opened the package - I was giddy with excitement. However… after the first wash (cold water, light setting in a front load washer) and dried - piling was immediate. It did take longer to dry than others. We have two dogs which require constant laundering- I bought two sets of sheets and quilts. While it is beautiful, I am concerned the quality will withstand.

It doesn’t stay on the bed when you’re sleeping unfortunately I lost my receipts I can’t return.

This is a great mid-weight blanket that can be used year round. When first purchased, it has a really pretty sheen to it, but unfortunately it faded pretty quickly. On the whole, it’s still very attractive, but after only a month or so of use it’s starting to show wear. That being said, we have a dog who sleeps on the bed and wash reeeally often, so if that isn’t the case you might be better off!

Very comfortable. Light weight but still enough to keep warm. The only issue I have is it’s only been 2 months since purchasing & the fabric is fraying and little pieces of lint & fuzz are beginning to appear all on the underside of the blanket. Which is extremely frustrating since the price of this blanket is not cheap. I was expecting a little better quality.

We loved the wine red color of this quilt when we purchased it, but after washing the color has significantly faded even though we followed wash instructions. Photo shows original color (pillow shams purchased later) vs washed quilt. We love the weight of this quilt but would not buy this particular style again. It looks old and worn and we’ve had for less than 6 months, the color gets worse with each wash. Shams are also becoming discolored but at a different pace than the quilt, so it all looks mismatched now.

When I first put this item on my bed it was great, but after only about two weeks of use the stitching is coming apart really bad. This isn't just in a particular area but around the entire border stitching as well as random pattern stitches. Overall, it is very breathable and perfect for hot sleepers, but extremely disappointed in the stitch quality.

LOVED the color for my Texas A&M themed room, but completely faded after first wash. Looks 20 yrs old now. Embarrassed to put out for guests. Fortunately was able to return it for poor quality.

Beautiful color deep slate blue, soft silky hand and lovely weight

At first we really liked the color, and then after washing it once with the matching sheets they lost their color?! I followed the instructions to washing it, so really disappointed this happened.

After washing this coverlet one time per instructions, the seams are coming apart in several spots around it. Disappointed in the quality to say the least.

I like the weight of this quilt. It's perfect for Spring!

Faded after first wash

While I really like the color, the product shrunk in the wash and now no longer is able to tuck in on the sides of my bed.

After one wash, color faded irregularly. Some areas are darker than others. It's been washed a few times & looks awful.

Gorgeous color however needed to wash within first month of ownership. Followed tagged directions yet blanket looked terribly washed out and old when done.

This quilt exceeded my expectation's. It's so soft and comfy. Timeless and elegant!

Looks nice before use, but the stiching unraveling within 1 week of use and only one gentle cycle wash and delicate dry cycle.
