Love the case and holster. My proble is you don’t ever seem to carry replacement holsters for the defender series, only the defender xt series which will not work with the original defender series.

I had to trim around the siri button because it did not line up.

This is my first OtterIbox product, I love it, the design is nice stylish, comfortable, and i especially love that the case can double as a stand awesome product!

Love the defender, had a commuter but it doesn’t measure up, should have done it years ago

This waa a gift i got my 18 year old son for Christmas. He's in the navy and got a stars and stripes design. He absolutely loves the design and the durability of the case. It also helps that it is water proof. It was an excellent purchase and I highly recommend.

This is all I needed. I drop my phone all the time and this case is perfect for me! If you do sports or there’s a possibility of you hitting your cellphone while working just buy this case!

It’s doing its job. I have an autistic child who uses my phone while we are on the go and my phone have managed all these tosses. My son recently tossed my phone out his brother window (we live in a townhome)and it survived , not even a scratch on the screen and I don’t have a screen protector at the moment. However before that I did notice that it’s starting to scratch around the metal border part of my iPhone. I’m not sure if that’s a defect or something. But it’s been doing great against my toddler

I had the Symmetry case and dropped my iPhone on our Kitchen floor and the back was cracked, but not to the extent where any glass was loose or falling out. With 2 years left on my phone contract, I felt I needed the stiffer Defender and am not disappointed. The back is more protective and doesn't weigh hardly any more. And I received a belt clip if I want to wear it on my waist.

I love how it fits my phone and the clip keeps my phone right where I want it

The phone does not stay in the holster well getting in and out of vehicles I find it unclips

Holster is flawed, phone does not stay in holster on single or double click in, my screen is always facing into the holster, so that isn’t the problem as suggested in multiple responses to this issue, also synthetic rubber does not fit as well and leaves a rubber bubble next to camera lenses, I have been pleased and loyal with otter box since my iPhone 6, now I have a iphone 14 pro max and am very disappointed in otter box for this subpar case and they have lost a customer in me. Time to give my business to another company.

Bought this case for work thinking it would be the best option for protecting my expensive phone. Found that after a couple weeks it had scratched and started to chip at the bezels of my new iPhone. I’ve always kept my phone and case very clean but it still did this. Very disappointed that I spent the money on a hood case for it to only damage me phone. Would not recommend.

Used Defender cases for my previous two versions of iPhones. The first one was great (thick case and VERY easy to place in and remove from the belt clip). The second one was good (thick and fairly easy to place in the belt clip), and I could use my belt clip from the previous model with the case (which was awesome because the previous belt clip was VERY easy to place the phone in as it didn't have the tabs on the top edge of the belt clip). This new version (for the iPhone 14 Pro Max) is horrible! Way too thin and is VERY HARD to place in the belt clip). Also, since it is so thin, and the belt clip is therefore thin too, it cuts into my arm when I am sitting down with my arm by my side. I'm so frustrated and unhappy with it I believe I am going to throw it away and find/purchase a more user friendly product.
