Munchkin 7oz Simple Clean Trainer Cup with Handles

If I could I’d give this item zero stars. It appears well made but my granddaughter gets really frustrated with the fact that not more than a few drops comes out. I even tried it myself and found it pretty useless, if my goal is to give her a cup of water expecting water to actually come out of the mouth piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time user of munchkin products, I was glad to see they were coming up with another spill proof cup. While I do like the 360 cups that they have, my kids have not always done great with them. And we have found that if you slam them down just right that they definitely are not spill proof. The new leak proof cup is a nice design with a flex spout that can be pushed down under a flap to stay shut. My child did really well to instinctively tip it up to get water (just like she would with a bottle) and the two handle design is perfect for little learners. Love that it comes apart in three pieces for easy cleaning. Travels well and remains leak-proof even with shaking.

The lid pieces are easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning, the drink spout is soft and safe for my toddler, and so far, no leaks! Great choice for introducing new cups!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter sippy cup! The spout on it is soft and makes it easy to transition from a bottle to a sippy cup. It doesn’t leak and it’s dishwasher safe. The soft spout is also teething friendly and it seems to hold up really well.

It’s lightweight and easy for her to hold and the spout tucks in so that it does not leak when not in use! I like how easy it was to disassemble and clean and that it’s bpa free. It’s her favorite sippy cup and I will be ordering in more colors. I’d also like to add that she dropped it on the sidewalk during a stroller walk and it held up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice trainer cup for my little one, I thought I had selected the pink option for my baby girl but received the blue one but the cup still works fine! Hasn’t leaked anywhere yet and I like that the cup is soft so if she drops it on herself it won’t really hurt. It’s a good cup and I would definitely buy this again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cup definitely lives up to its name when it comes to being leak-proof and spill-resistant—not a single drop came out, even when tossed or turned upside down. The durability is also impressive; it feels sturdy and holds up well to drops and toddler tosses. It’s also pretty easy to take apart and clean, which is a big win for busy parents. However, where it falls short for us is comfort and usability. The spout is really difficult to drink from. My son Niko couldn’t get any liquid out no matter how hard he tried—it seems like you have to squeeze the spout just right with your lips and apply a specific kind of pressure. It may work for some kids, but it was just too tricky for us. I wouldn’t rule it out completely, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a first trainer cup either.

But the one major downside for me is the silicone straw design. The straw folds down into a soft silicone cover, which sounds great in theory for keeping things clean, but in practice it just feels a bit awkward and flimsy. The straw sometimes doesn’t stay in place properly, and cleaning the soft silicone components can be a hassle. I also worry a bit about wear and tear with so much bending involved. If your child really needs a straw cup and you like all-silicone designs, this might work for you. But for us, it just didn’t feel as sturdy or practical as we hoped.

I love that it’s only 3 pieces so I’m not constantly losing the tiny pieces; which can be a nightmare. And it’s a thick plastic that doesn’t crack when dropped.

I like that it folds down easily and doesn't seem to leak, but I worry about my son chewing on it, how long it'll last, and whether or not it's good for his teeth. It's small and easy to hold with the handles, which is a good thing for him but it gets snagged on the diaper bag all the time. It was okay, it works as needed but I prefer other cups.
