Lightweight Unscented Fragrance Free with Baking Soda Clumping Cat Litter - 7.5lbs - up&up™

I recently tried this Lightweight Unscented Fragrance-Free Cat Litter, and there are definitely some positives to mention. First off, the price is great—very budget-friendly. It’s also impressively lightweight, which makes it easy to carry and pour. The container I purchased was enough to completely fill my cat's litter box, and there was minimal dust when pouring, which is a big plus for keeping things clean and breathable. As for the scent—it’s labeled as unscented, and it absolutely is. There’s literally no smell at all from the litter itself, which is neither good nor bad, just a fact. Now for the downside, and it’s a big one: odor control. I have two cats, and after one urinated and the other did their business and covered it, the smell was overwhelming. It was so strong I could smell it even though the mess was fully buried. That’s a deal-breaker for me. The litter simply doesn’t contain any odor, and that alone means I won’t be buying it again or recommending it. If you have one cat and clean the box immediately after each use, maybe it could work. But for multi-cat households, it’s a hard pass.

The cat litter arrived dented in the mail, but did not harm the product itself. There was nothing special about the litter. I didn’t find it covered bad odors as well as my preferred brand, but did not track around too much and clumped well.

I added this litter to the litter box a few weeks ago. Initially I mixed it in with the old litter, and then added it by itself the next litter box cleaning. Unfortunately, I noticed very little to no clumping with this litter. I appreciate that the litter is unscented, but it does not seem to reduce urine odors like my cats' regular litter. The litter jug is lightweight, which makes it easy to transport and pour.

This works fine as cat litter. I have two cats and they have used it without issue. The jug size is small and you will go through it fast, if you have more than one cat. It is definitely lightweight compared to the traditional version. I have also noticed its dustier than the original version.

Used to buy all the time. Recently noticed the quality of it has dropped. My cat now tracks it all through the house and it NEVER happened before. Used for years. Thought maybe the one or two I bought were duds but it’s changed for good now.

This is the first cat litter that has little or no odor control. It literally has the litter box stinking and we scoop several times a day. Unfortunately I purchased two, total waste of money.

This cat litter works great for my elderly cat. It’s unscented and doesn’t stick to her paws while neutralizing odors for several days. The jug is light and easy to carry and dump, and the litter itself is as good as the name brands.

The least clumping litter ever. Only buy if you want litter spread around your house like it was glitter at a rave. 0/10

The good: I didn't know this much of a scent but it does have a little bit of a smell like corn or grains. The bad: the container was practically empty when I brought it home and opened it. They fool you into saying it's lightweight but really that's because the container is half full. It lasted me about 3.5 weeks with one cat. Secondl, it gets everywhere. Most litters that I've used that claim to be a little traction don't really work but this one was worse than those. I had to sweep every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I absolutely would not recommend.

This used to be a 10 lbs container. Price keeps going up but it just lost 25% of the product and is now 7.5 lbs! Outrageous! It also says it is a new formula. I haven't tried it yet and will update when I do. They did that once before and the change was for the worse (a lot more dust and tracking).

I've purchased all different litter brands in the past and have never expierenced this but my cats eat this litter. It looks like grass is in the ingredients which may be the cause. I've caught both of my cats consuming this. Save yourself the vet bill and skip this.

We used this one time with one cat. Ultimately I don’t recommend due to waste odors, although I was excited for the lack of annoying fragrances. Pros: - less than half the price of Arm & Hammer Lightweight or A&H multicat, my usual option - easy open cap and handle makes it way more pleasant to open and pour than typical boxes - not super dusty, doesn’t track too much. Cons: - it’s unscented and it certainly is unscented! It has literally nothing in it at all to neutralize the smell of my cat’s waste, leaving the entire room smelling like a filthy box from the moment he uses it until you finally scoop. - really, it’s just so so smelly. The A&H options I normally get give me the option to scoop in the mornings as part of my routine, this litter is demanding multiple scoops per day. Overall, I can’t recommend it unless you’re already a multiple times a day scooper, or you use some kind of odor neutralizing mix-in already. It was worth trying since the price is so attractive, it’s just not a good fit for our house.
