Q: The last time I purchased this product it was 10LB. Now in March 2025 it is 7.5LB. Is there less product in the container or has the formula changed to make it even lighter?

This is such a good cat litter for the price. We use it for oil spills as well. It is easy clean up. It doesnt have a smell to it after use! It lasts us quite awhile for both uses. We would get this again.

This cat litter is great!! It being scented helps balance out the smell, and it clumps easily for easy and quick clean up! My cats also seem to other litters we've used! I highly recommend this cat litter!

This litter is a game changer. This litter is so light. When you scoop the clumps do not break apart. Clean scoop, doesn’t stink. My 3 cats approved. It does what it supposed to do, and I like the smell.

This slightly grape smelling cat litter works wonders to cover up the pungent smell of ammonia in cat urine and my two picky cats love it! No more going outside the litter box for my fur babies. I think we’ve found a keeper!

This litter is lightweight and convenient. The container is easy to pour from and didn't make a bunch of dust. The scent is light and pleasant. My cat is a diva but accepted this litter with no problem.

Great cat litter that works as well as the name brand cat litters out there. I’ve tried them all for my 3 cats! I have a large Maine coon cat that can make a mess and this litter contains dust and doesn’t end up everywhere, which I love. The scent/fragrance of the litter is enough to overpower the cat messes but nothing that is super strong and too much. Overall, a great litter is that is easy to pour and gets the job done.

This cat litter has to be my new favorite. I love that it is scented and it is very effective in covering up the smell. My cat's really like the texture of this and I would buy this again foe them in the future.

The litter used to actually clump and and absorb the urine. They changed the formula now it's like little rocks that do nothing for the smell and doesn't clump. Might as well by $5 bag of Jonny cat for the same terrible quality

I bought this hoping it would work as well as the name brand light weight litter. It does not clump quickly, and urine ends up soaking the bottom of the litter box. It also does nothing for smells.

I just liked because you have changed the litter type the old letter was so much better and did not track anywhere I even have a litter mat in it is a mess Target used to be so great at things you need to get back to the basics and be good again please

It used to be $9.99 for 12lbs. July 2024 it went up to it was $9.99 for 10lbs. Eight months later, March 2025, $9.99 for 7.5lbs. I can get an entire ham that weighs more and costs less than cat litter. My cat is 21 years old. If/when something happens to her, I think my cat days are over. People won’t be able to afford their pets and they will suffer next. The only reason I haven’t switched is because it’s the only one that works for my electric litter box (which is now discontinued…probably because it’s hard to find litter for it).

I used to buy a 10lb jug of this litter every week for $7 (frequently $6 or even $5 on sale). Nowadays it never goes on sale, quality has dropped while price has shot up all the way to $10/10lb. Asking me to pay $10 for a smaller 7.5lb container is a bridge too far. This used to be decent litter for a bargain price, now it’s trash at a premium. Target used to do good by its customers… those days are clearly long gone.

Target is at it again with shrinkflation. I’ve been buying this up&up lightweight for almost a decade and the size used to be 10 pounds at the most recent price of $9.99. The 10 pound plastic jug was mysteriously out of stock and unavailable in the last few weeks or so (Feb/March 2025). And here we are, with a *new* iteration that’s 7.5 pounds of litter for the same price of $9.99. Target, do better…it used to cost $6.99 when I first started purchasing it and then you’ve skyrocketed the price in the middle of the pandemic…all corporate greed. It’s disgusting.
