According to Target’s product listing,it is sound‑activated, meaning its singing/talking functionality is triggered by noise and does not activate when it's silent. Like another review said, the mouth makes so much noise when it moves that it seems like it’s broken. Even over the sound of its cute singing, all I can hear is the sound of the mouth moving. Unfortunately need to return it for that reason.

It is bigger than I thought it would be and he sings loudly and his mouth vibrates. You can turn the sound off but then you just hear the mechanical sounds of him moving his mouth. I wish the Halloween decor had volume controls.

Cute Halloween decoration i bought this for my kids since they wanted it for Halloween online I wasn’t impressed by it but I bought it anyways for my kids since they wanted it and I jus say im impressed he’s much cooler in person and I like the little sing he sings and he’s pretty big which isn’t a bad thing for the price all in all it’s a great purchase and my kids like their froggy Halloween decoration.
