Such a cute dress! Normally wear a medium, but sized down based on reviews that it ran a little big and I’m glad I did. 5’3”, 144lbs, and 36C/D chest and small fits great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This short-sleeve wrap waist midi shirtdress from Universal Thread is a cute, casual, perfect for a summer work day while still enjoying summer weather. The dress is light and airy and easy to move in. I like the wrap details, it makes it more business casual for places you need to dress up more. The fit is a little big so I think for a more flattering look I should have sized down. I’m wearing a large and my measurements are 33 inch waist and 41 inch hips. Proportions were odd. Front stomach/chest area too big and saggy in the front and the skirt hit at a strange part of the waist, making top and bottom an unflattering ratio

This dress is perfect for curvy women. It is so flattering! However, if you do not have curves, you will probably not fill it out in the right spaces and it will look a little odd.

It does run big, however if you are a curvy girl this dress is perfect. I’m usually a m/l and with this dress I was a small because it was large in the chest and slimming in the waist

Love this dress! Yes, it runs big. I’m 5’8”, 170lb, and hippy. I could have gotten a small, but it didn’t give me enough overlap in the skirt area and I didn’t want to be flashing my shorts every time I crossed my legs. The M top is a bit billowy on me but I don’t think it looks bad at all, it gives the dress a sort of vintage 70s/80s feel, if you’re into that.

This dress came in a bad shape n didn’t fit me as shown in the picture it’s way too big n wired fit !! I’m gonna return this!

Nice fabric. Fit is a bit large. Bought the XS and still large around the waist despite the wrap tie. Still looks good though.

Cute, lightweight, and mostly natural fiber summer dress. It's hard to find dresses that fit me, small on top, wide hips, but narrow waist. This is the best dress for my body type I've found in a while! Usually I'm a medium or large, this is a small. 5'9,170 for reference

I really like the style and was hoping this would be a summer office dress. I am 5’4” and 160 and usually wear a medium. I’m not even sure a small would fit on the upper portion but definitely would be too small at the hips. The material is also see through. I received an incentive to write this review.

You can either dress it up and wear it to a fancy event, or wear sandals at the beach. I have received so many compliments while wearing this. It definitely looks higher and and more expensive than what it was. I plan on purchasing the other color too! For reference, I am usually a size small, size 4 dress and this dress does run larger so I sized down. I received an incentive to write this review.

Beware if you wear this you will be Flashing everybody. I truly do not understand unless you stay completely still ? Poorly constructed, a robe would be better flattering and tie better. It is a shame bc the color is cute and the stripes are adorable!

The top of the dress is too big/loose. The lower wrap portion can tighten to fit, but then the hem in the front doesn’t line up. The fabric is also see through. I really wish the fit wasn’t wonky, because it would have been really cute.

It’s not stretchy, but it also doesn’t fit tightly. You can adjust the wraparound skirt at the waist to make it looser or more fitted according to what you feel comfortable with it has a really cute buttons down the chest. it’s a little confusing to get on, but once you get it on, it does fit very nicely. I tried on a size small, which is mine normal size. I probably could’ve gone down a size in this dress but overall it’s a great dress great length very well-made. I love the style of this dress! It can totally be dressed up or dressed down. It’s waist defining but camouflages my tummy. I’m a 38DD and the top didn’t pull at all. I’m typically a XL and sized down to a L. The fabric is lightweight and nude underwear is definitely required. My main complaint is that there aren’t better colors. I don’t really like the salmon, but I’m overlooking it because I like the style so. More colors please!! 🙏🏻

Super cute and comfortable! More low cut than I like, but adorable style overall. Love the vertical lines vs horizontal. I’m usually a L/XL and the L has plenty of room!! Glad I can tie it tighter with the tie on the hip.

Love this dress! I had to size down one. It’s super flattering, has functional buttons (so nursing friendly), and very cute!
