Saalt Leakproof Cotton Sleep Shorts - Super Absorbency - Black

I love the style of these, but the legs roll up when I move so that is why I went with three stars. They have great coverage and are absorbent. Perfect for nighttime. It is just slightly annoying that the legs roll up.

I also opened all 3 pairs I ordered as soon as I received them because I’ve used Thinx reusable period underwear before and never had issues with leakage , so I wasn’t expecting these shorts to not work. I returned and now have a giftcard that I don’t care to use since I don’t believe these products absorb well. I do not recommend.

Very comfortable and well made, but the gusset is very narrow so I did experience leaking on a heavy flow day. I will still use these, but not overnight or on my heaviest days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst pair of period underwear I’ve ever bought. I have multiple brands and have worn period underwear for 10 years. I wear period underwear so I can be comfortable and feel like I’m wearing regular underwear. These are like wearing underwear with a super thick pad and very scratchy seams in the most irritating place. If they would have expanded the padded area to cover the butt cheeks and not cut a narrow area down the middle I could have dealt with it. I have their boy shorts and they’re thin and comfortable, these are going in the trash, what a waste of $50, so disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I NEVER write reviews but felt like I wish I would have seen such a description of the item before I chose to buy. This is the only Saalt item I dislike. All of the other items I bought (have tried almost all of the thongs, the seamless bikini, and the boyshorts), I love. The gusset on these is noticeably smaller than the boyshorts, maybe 0. 5-1cm difference which is a clear visible difference. Probably closer to the size of the gusset on their thongs. The absorbent part runs down the middle from the top of the front of the shorts to the back which is great, but the gusset gave me pause. It doesn't feel particularly secure and I needed to keep checking that the shorts were correctly aligned throughout the day. Also, the material of the non-absorbent part of the shorts is an opaque-ish mesh that doesn't seem like it would contain any leaks (compared to the boyshorts which are made of a heavier fabric). These are more compressive and a tighter fit than the boyshorts but I find that I worry less about leaks with the boyshorts -- specifically as a side sleeper. I think if you're a back sleeper or wear these only while sitting, they could be a good choice. It's a little bit unfortunate because I was hoping for a more absorbent version of the boyshorts with higher coverage. Technically, this product does have a higher surface area for absorbency but I can't really get over the gusset.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the premise of non toxic, organic period panty, but if you are a heavy bleeder, these are not leakproof. The middle padding is pretty narrow between the legs and the shorts part is a thin layer of cotton, that holds absolutely nothing. It’s still worth an investment for a second/third night when the flow slows down, but labeling them leakproof is misleading. Also there run EXTREMELY small. I am a small in pretty much everything and had to size up to M but honestly a L would’ve been even better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the “super” absorbency shorts, and I loved the fit and everything, but after wearing them for 2 hrs with a relatively light-medium flow, they leaked through the front, which was very odd. I have really heavy periods, and since that was a light day, I was really confused. I wanted to love these, but unfortunately they did not meet the leakproof expectation that I had for them.

These are fantastic! I feel completely safe when wearing them because the gusset goes all the way up to the band in the front and the back. They are comfortable and crazy absorbent. Worth every penny.

So glad they finally did a "full" coverage period underwear. These are awesome for night time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maybe for someone else? The pad going from the front waistband all the way to the back waistband is awkward. The seams pull with movement and have less stretch than the material. The shorts aren't long enough not to immediately roll all the way up.
