Painted Ceramic Nativity Set Christmas - Threshold™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a new nativity set because a few pieces in my old set had broken. This is a cute little set, and the decorative detail on the pieces is really neat. There is a lot of attention to detail and each piece appears to be hand painted. The set is quite small, so it would be perfect to fit on top of an end table or a small bookshelf as a fun accent piece at Christmas time. There are no eyes noses or mouth on the faces, but maybe that would’ve taken away from the design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Threshold painted ceramic Nativity set for Christmas. It is small in size, but I love the details and the colors. The background piece is the highest at 7 inches. You can easily use this set for any shelf. I was happy to see the skin tones reflective of the bibilical time and country. This could be great for older kids to help remember the Christmas story, but that can be delicate with the pieces as well.

In total, there are ten pieces to set the scene, one of which a is a dramatic blue background. I can see this being set up during the Christmas season on the mantel in our living room. The figures of the people are relatively the size of a finger.

Each piece has its own set for packing away and putting away from year after year. The pieces are very glossy and a beautiful ceramic finish. They are solid ceramic and contain all 10 pieces with the star for the entire nativity set. I appreciate how each piece has many details, colors, and size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the prettiest little nativity that appears to have been hand painted. It is just lovely with delicate detail to all of the figurines. The large back piece might need something to make sure it does not tip over if it is on a table or displayed where the table could be knocked into. It gives your home the feeling of love. The colors are soft bringing the spirit of Christmas into my home. I received an incentive to write this review.
