Ceramic Nativity Set Christmas - Threshold™

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the Threshold ceramic nativity set for Christmas. I love the white and gold combination for those of us that don’t always want red and green. It’s great to see darker skin tones representative of the Biblical times. This is a small set, but the painting is done really well. You can easily place this set on any shelf. This could also be great for older kids who can be delicate with the pieces.

I was also happy with this design because it has brown skin which is a better representation of my family. I would have liked a little more detail in the baby of the manger, but the rest of the nativity scene was fairly detailed and impressed me. I am excited to display this on the couch table for the holidays.

I like the size as it is small enough to fit on one of the shelves near my fireplace. I also like the simplicity of the shape of the pieces as well as the coloring of the pieces. It has all of the basic pieces that you would expect to be in a nativity set.

I took a picture from the back so you could see that it is completely white in the back in the same finished so if it’s sitting on a sofa table, you can see it from both sides. The pieces are lightweight. It’s dirty enough that they’re not exactly hollow. I also appreciate that the box it is in is perfect storage and the pieces fit into the cardboard very well for safe storage in the non-holiday months. I received an incentive to write this review.

It looked a lot smaller in the photos online so it was a pleasant surprise to receive it and find it a much larger set than I expected. The ceramic figurines are well made and the gold detailing provides the classic, traditional look I was going for. I love also that it comes in a sturdy box with a secure spot for each figurine storage. Great find! I received an incentive to write this review.
