[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These spree freeze dried candies are a kind of fun and interesting new take on candy texture that I have not seen before. I will say, the look of it is quite deceiving. It's much harder then it looks. When you look at the image on the package it looks like it will have a kind of powdery or soft crunch, instead these are quite hard and tend to get stuck in your teeth. I wish the texture was more of a melt in your mouth feel once you bite down on it. As you chew it almost becomes like a hard piece in your mouth that get stuck to your teeth. I will say I did continue to mindlessly snack on these without realizing it so they probably would be really good at the movie theater.

The texture is definitely unique, but I love how juicy the flavor is. All of the colors were tasty, but I loved the red and purple the most. This is a great treat to enjoy while watching a movie and I love how convenient it is to take.

The packaging is easy to open and the colors are bright and vivid. I tried several flavors/colors of the Sprees and hate to report that I didn’t like any of them. The texture and crunch is great but the taste is a no for me.

The flavors are sweet and slightly sour like the original Spree candy, but I miss the soft bite into it. Instead, it’s a harder texture that I don’t really love. So overall, I loved the flavor but disliked the texture.
