Halloween Haunted House - Threshold™

This is a very nice quality and large haunted house. I love it!

As stated in the title this is the second time I purchased this house. The first time I received it, it was missing part of the roof and was smashed in the back. I return the house. I reordered it again only because I have 3 other of the houses and I really enjoy displaying them. So unfortunately the house came again really damaged. I don't blame delivery because this has no protective wrap on it. This is absolutely a target problem. I know I'm not the only one receiving a damaged house and they refuse to address this issue. I guess $40 means nothing nowadays.

SO cute!! It looks great on top of our entertainment center. It feels well made and the lights flicker on the inside. We love it!

Love that they brought back the orange flickering lights, but hate the moss. Wish it was more like the ones I have purchased in the past

Unlike other reviews, mine was delivered in pretty perfect condition. It was packed tightly in its own box and placed with other items in a larger box. I can’t really tell but it looks like maybe it’s missing a bulb or has a busted bulb for the lower left window. I could look past that but what I can’t look past is the hideous CLUMPS of fake moss. Just why? It’s not even something you can remove without damaging the house. It just looks so bad and so cheap. I would maybe pay $20-$25 for the large house so if you can get this on sale then go for it. Since I paid full price I will be returning. Going to hope for a better design next year.

Love these so much! Buy them every year. It is always best in my experience to purchase in store. They do not ship well and usually get damaged. If you absolutely have to purchase online, I'd give a call and ask for extra packaging to protect it.

Ordered this item twice. Both times the windows have came broken. No window in the door and above the door.

Target has revamped it's holiday decor. This haunted house is perfect, eerie and gret for the price. Great quality. Enjoy yourself take a look and don't forget to sign up for your your free red circle card. Target I'm back

I love the house and happy the flickering lights are back. But I really hate that moss they glued to the houses. It just looks horrible. Why? Target just leave this houses alone. No need to glue extra stuff on them

Giving 4 stars because even though I LOVE this house and the fact that it has the warm lights just makes it that much better… but the PACKAGING was awful. Just thrown in a box with a piece of bubble wrap laying on top of it.

This is my second year buying these wood houses online (I've never seen them in the store) and the second time they've arrived damaged. When they pack them to ship they throw them both in the same box with some air balloon things and that's it, naturally they move around and end up getting damaged. Like I said i've never seen them in the store, so it's pointless to get a replacement because that one will also arrive damaged.

The house itself is so cute, but definitely wait until these are available in store. I ordered the large and the small via shipping, and both came with massive chips, dents, and pieces completely snapped off. So I sadly had to return both of them.

You can’t purchase this haunted house in store. I would have loved it if it was protected and packaged properly. One thin layer of bubble wrap thrown inside the box. Delivered with chips and cracks.

The garish moss they added ruined them. They won’t go with the three I’ve collected for the past two years.

Mine arrived with the roof chipped from poor packaging... I like the fact that they brought back the flickering, orangey windows, but I do not care for the faux moss (messily) glued to the roof. If I could figure out how to remove it I would. Its fine along the base tho. I ordered the larger house too, but have not opened it. IT did come inside its own box, so I'm hoping it is undamaged. Something I have noticed-the paint has a shiny, plastic quality to it, and that detracts from the natural wood house. I wish they would go back to the other finish, which gave the houses a real weathered, grayish look, that prior years had.

The colors of the windows are not as shown. They are not a deep orange, but a light sparkly orange, similar to the houses in this same line in the past. They flicker and I'm so glad Target brought back the orange windows with the flickering lights. Last year's bright white lights were a miss. This house is much better because of the window color and the flickering lights. Thank you for listening to reviews! If you liked the houses from 2021, 2022 and 2023 then you will like this one. Great addition to the collection. My only negative is the color of the windows not being that deep orange like shown.

In the stylized photo of the haunted house when it is unlit, the windows appear to be a deep orange color. I just got my houses today, and the windows are yellow and sparkly. Definitely not orange :( I feel mislead. The color is completely different and changes the vibe just a lil bit. Customer service was kind when I contacted them about this. One really nice touch - the lights are bright and flicker like true candle light. On a disappointing note, there is no timer.

It’s back!! If you remember last years, it had very unflattering, bright led lights. They must have heard all the complaints because that’s not the case this year. I ordered both sizes and they both have that yellow glow as you can probably tell from the pictures. They flicker too. Very happy with my purchase.

this haunted house is so cute and perfect for halloween. my son loves how it lights up and i love the simplicity of it. i absolutely recommend to any halloween lover or someone who just wants to add a pop of spooky to their decor!

This is such a fun and festive little spooky decoration that is perfect for Halloween. The lights flicker and are really pretty. It takes batteries which are super easy to swap out. You could also easily add more decorative pieces to it.
