Scoop up a pint

My store's first shipment of Frozen One chocolate flavored Protein Ice Cream wasn't the same as what's displayed on the Target app, not sure if it was a batch of their old recipe or what, but it was the "Dutch Chocolate" and macros were stellar @ 340 cal with 40g of protein, low fat content in comparison to their competitors, and no added sugar, no artificial sweeteners, just natural sugar substitutes, which is welcomed. This thing tasted pretty good; someone else's review said this flavor tasted like chocolate cake, which I will say it did taste decadent. My store only carries two flavors as of right now, really hoping they expand to receiving the others. Grabbed a pint of the other flavor currently offered at my local store (Apple Pie), looking forward to trying that one in the next few days. Protein Pints was my go-to brand, but that might not be the case for much longer with the addition of the Frozen One brand being added to the market.

I would give this ice cream zero stars if I could. I’m a big fan of the ice cream from Protein Pints, so when I saw this similar concept ice cream with slightly better macros, I had to give it a shot. It is genuinely horrendous. I returned it immediately. It is soooo gritty and the chocolate flavor tastes like chemicals. The horrible flavor lingered in my mouth too. It is really bad. The worst ice cream I’ve ever had. Ironically, it is also slightly more expensive than Protein Pints. Do not waste your money.
