Q: My indoor cats could use the mat as a scratching post? but I would have to put it it inside as well. The two scratching posts I bought for them at the pet store they don't pay attention to them. Thank
A: Thanks for your interest in our utility mat. While we are sure your cat would enjoy the comfort of this mat, we cannot recommend to use this as a scratching post, as that is not its intended us. The testing that we have performed for this utility mat was only done for it’s intended usage.

(Your cats won't like the smell. Whatever you choose—it should be as natural as possible with no chemical finishes. Your vet will be the expert!)

A: Hello! This mat is not offered in any other sizes. We have tested this mat on all Mohawk flooring types and have not had any adverse reactions to date. If your flooring is from another manufacturer, we recommend checking with them if there are any specific things they advise against. This door mat has an olefin face with a recycled rubber backing.

Q: There are no pictures of what the underside of the mat looks like. While I realize that it is rubber, is it smooth and flat or does it have small nubs (like pins?) This is important, why no photos?
A: The rubber backing is a rough texture but it does not have numbs or pins.
