A: I just purchased this item. The tag says it has a timer that is on for 6 hours and off for 18. The switch on the bottom has 3 functions: Off, On, Timer

Looks nice, but the light us super dim and not at all as bright as the "try me" light. I can't tell it is lit unless I am standing right over it. I wonder if the one I got was just a dud, since other reviews had said the light is bright. Will be taking this one back.
