Q: Is there an easy way to put the metal shade on the socket? The directions don’t explain what to do if the shade wont fit on the light socket

A: The shade should easily fit between the socket and the bulb. Be sure the bulb is fully screwed in to secure the shade.

I was really excited to find these on clearance at my local Target. Got them home and it took a while to put them together & once I did found that one of the lights did not work. I tried another bulb but it was not the bulb, but the light socket, so I took them back. I later ordered them online & the very same thing happended again. Also they come in two colours cream and a pretty orange, but in both packages there were far more cream coloured umbrellas than orange. I was veru disappointed and wasted a lot of time trying to purchase this item

These were so cute and I was so excited to put them up on my patio. But they are useless. Simple to put together. But I tested them in my living room and only about quarter of the bulbs worked. I tried every configuration of bulbs in sockets and less and less worked as I went on. I would even take a bulb that was working out of a socket to test it in another socket to see if it was the bulb. And it would light up in another socket. But then when I took it back to the original socket it didn't light up again. I would not recommend these. I hope I have an easy time returning them.

The cord from the plug to the first light is very short so unless you’re plugging in to another strand, you’ll likely need an extension cord. The bulbs are plastic which I felt was a good thing. The shades need to be placed on the strand by removing the bulb and using brute force to push the shade in to place and the screw the bulb back in. No worries of the shade falling off. Overall they feel very durable. The cord is thick and sturdy. They are brighter than I was expecting also. They put off a lovely warm white light. No blinding LEDs.

This Hearth and Hand 10 ct LED light set is very nice. It is wired with plugs at both ends to allow multiple strings to be attached together. The woven shades are rather large (see pic) and well made. There is some minor assembly required - bulbs must be unscrewed to attach the shades. Overall, an attractive light set.

I currently have these lights mounted under my deck. They are very bright lights. The bulbs are plastic and since I haven’t had lights similar to these before I don’t know how easily I will find replacement bulbs. They were kind of a pain to assemble but overall I am satisfied

I have been wanting a set of string lights for our camp but did not want glass ones due to how windy it gets there. ThIs set has plastic LED bulbs that I am hoping will hold up better. I love the muted color of the shades and they were easy to put together and string up out of the box. I can't wait to install them at our camp.

These lights are adorable and add just the right touch to any outdoor space! I can’t wait until the weather finally warms up around here so I can sit out on my patio and enjoy them. I did remove 1 star since the shades were a little tricky to get on, but once those were set, all that was left was to find a good spot to hang them.

These lights are super cute, and heavier than expected, they seem durable. The light bulb is plastin not glass but more durable outside. The is 10 light, 2 of them are fully assembled the other 8 you have to put together and was a snug fit so hard to het the metal shield on. Took some muscle to finish, but so cute
