Beautiful teacup and saucer but handle with care
I absolutely adore these teacups and saucers BUT with a couple catches. At my target they were impossible to find. Eventually I asked the associate at check out and she confirmed inventory but only in the stockroom and told me to ask guest services to get some from the back. Of the 6 cups the associate brought out, 2 were broken or chipped in various ways. So please check your cups for breaks before buying! I was able to purchase the 4 I wanted. Great size for a latte or a big cuppa tea. **Not the fault of target but this teacup story has a tragic end: Unfortunately it was a terribly windy day when I bought them and after they were loaded in my trunk, I accidentally opened the trunk instead of unlocking the car. A gust of wind blew my folding stroller and the bag with the teacups onto the ground. All but one plate shattered but the teacups appear to have survived. Terribly disappointed about the plates and the irony. :( But I did enjoy a beautiful matcha latte in the surviving teacup today while I assess the damage to the other cups.

CONTAINS LEAD
Do NOT purchase. I tested the bottom printed labels on these and they contain LEAD. I tested with flurospec, a top of the line lead test kit. It glowed bright green on the label, and when you wash it, it will spread everywhere! Be aware!

Classy Tea Cup
