It was a father's day gift that happened to include a family joke. I was thrilled to see it. It's solid but not super thick and heavy. There are no visible flaws in the manufacturing or glazing. My spouse doesn't love the subtle pebbling effect in the glaze so people thinking about it should zoom in on the product photos to see if that's a feature or a detriment.
