Q: Does this clock have a plastic front that moisture can get into? I had one before and the moisture got in back of the plastic/glass front and all crystal formed on the numbers and the hands of the clock.

This clock has a Paper face, a picture of walnut wood glued to some kind of fiberboard or something, I did not remove the clock from the box to look at the back when I saw that it was a fake wood clock face. Certainly was not what I was expecting. Not the highest quality, but it was not that expensive either.

I love the look of this clock, but it won't keep time for me. I've gone through 3 batteries and after 20 minutes or so, it just STOPS. I really want to love it because it's perfect for my space. Is there a trick to making it work????

Cannot keep time. I just returned one and bought a new one thinking it was a fluke. Both clocks ran for about 10 min and then stopped every time, not a battery issue. Looks great but doesn't do the one and only job it was built for.

I love this brand, they usually nail it on the retro looks. The back is cardboard but looks like walnut panel. I got it in the store and wouldn't have noticed if I didn't read other reviews. Unless you have it in bright light you would never notice. It is a bit noisy, the thing that bothers me most is the ticking. Its not a steady rhythmic tick, which is irritating, it seems to already be slowing down on the time and I have had it up only a few hours. I will be very frustrated if I have to return it, it is a cool looking clock, but I need it to tell time correctly.

Mixed feelings - I love the look of this clock. It’s the perfect size and modern sleek look; looks high end from far away. However, it definitely is very light and poorly constructed using cheap materials - but I also didn’t expect a high end clock for such a low price . It is true that it runs slow even with new batteries so you’d have to constantly change the time to reflect an accurate time. However, our intent was a decorative clock for a minimalist masculine office and this fits that perfectly. We don’t actually use it to keep time so I would give the product 5 stars and would highly recommend if intended for purely decorative use.
