A: Hello, to ignite the 17" Pipestone Outdoor Column Fire Pit – Gray by Threshold™, begin by locating the control knob on the unit. Push the knob in and turn it counterclockwise to the “ignite” position. While holding the knob in, either press the built-in ignition button (if your model includes one) or carefully use a long lighter to light the burner. Keep the knob pressed in for approximately 30 seconds to allow the thermocouple to warm up and ensure the flame stays lit. After releasing the knob, you can then adjust the flame to your desired level. Always follow the safety instructions in the user manual during operation. Do not buy
Bought on sale for Memorial Day and didn't work immediately out of the box. It makes a buzzing sound while turned on that we cannot turn off. The nozzle to turn on is also iffy on day 1. It does not have any barrier between the flame and could be dangerous around pets or children. Will return this product.

This is great. It's modern looking, but a subtle grey color to blend in nicely with outdoor decor. It comes assembled, so it is simple to put up right away (given you already have a small propane tank for inside - if not, get one!). It's small enough to sit on an end table, but large enough to be noticeable. It's easy to light and extinguish, and is great for an outdoor gathering or relaxing evening. I like that it is easy to move so we can take it from out back to out front with ease. That way we can enjoy cool evenings out front with our neighbors. Definitely a good choice if you're looking for a small fire tower.

Artistic piece to keep you warm
A great addition to our patio. It has a slim design and provides heat without taking up too much space. It is relaxing to sit and watch in the evenings while keeping the chill off. It is relatively easy to move and reposition on the patio as needed.

Loving the colors of how the fire lights up very classy and great on a cold night to put in any entertaining seating area also loving the small design and easy to use very easy to take out of package and great instructions to operate and use loving the fact also it came with a pen to fix any marks if it gets scuffed up also loving it has a cover to put over it
