A: You can replace lava rocks with Firepit glass. How much you put in is up to you. To ensure proper function, the guard on the burner should never have lava rocks covered over it.

Q: can this be connected to an exterior natural gas line?

A: This item is connected to a propane gas tank, not natural gas. If you need to connect natural gas, you need to require a professional personnel to replace the joint, it is generally not recommended to replace it by yourself.

I am in love with this propane fire pit. It looks incredibly sleek and people are SHOCKED when I tell them how much it was! It does get very hot near the rocks so you have to be careful, but you cannot beat the price on this. It looks like a luxury piece and will be a great addition to any home.

This product has like yellowish gold flakes. Very cheaply made. The hose is long to connect the propane take which is stored outside of the firepit. Aesthetically is not so great. There are no pictures for that. It did work fantastic when I had it all set up. Just be careful for the chipping of it because it is made of like a pottery wheel material. ON the bottom it chips off easy. The outside is layered. It is a nice size. I did buy the glass to prevent the wind but the size of the glass that I thought fit, does not fit and I had put it together and now have to return it. Overall decently nice looking and for the price, it is worth it.

Propane hose is leaking at the regulator. Called Target hoping for a replacement part. I was told I’m 3 days outside of the 90 day warranty window so Target won’t help. Let’s see if Costway stands behind products they sell since Target doesn’t.

This is just as beautiful as it looks and very easy to set up. It lit right away and puts off quite a bit of heat. The size of the flame doesn’t get much bigger as you turn it up past medium but it definitely gets hotter. It was packaged well and only came with a few little unnoticeable chips (it’s all real stone so it’s expected) and one small hairline crack by the handle cutout. Most likely due to the fedex guy setting it down on its side instead flat. All in all a great buy and exactly what I was looking for.
