Item arrived defective and the manufacturer cannot replace the piece. Had it been able to be assembled, id give it 4 stars. The top is cute, but bumpy, so not super practical for setting drinks down on or writing on

The top is made of Capiz shell and Mother of Pearl laid in a mosaic pattern to resemble fish. Because of this there is a texture to the top, but it is level and will hold a drink. As for the assembly issue, please contact us at 800-262-1852 or consumersupport@linon.com.
