Unfortunately it arrived bent. It is not thick metal - kind of thin. I tried to straighten it out - but it seemed like if I bent it too much it would break. So ... I did what I could and hung it up. I don't think anyone is really going to notice it too much. NOW - here is a piece of advice - I didn't take into consideration that my door is a dark blue color (I am in an apartment so I can't paint it another color) and soooo ... since this is black it is a little hard to see on the door. Again - I do like it so I will keep it and I am using it so a decent purchase.
