Yeah... I did NOT read the reviews before ordering this. Since it’s kids silverware I just assumed they would be smaller than my adult size regular silverware. Bought this for my 2, almost 3 year old, and these are HUGE! Definitely will be returning these to the store. They seem sturdy and good but just not for what I needed them for.
Great quality but I wish the spoons were less flat and not so big. The forks are fine and have that bend that I am looking for but the spoons do not and it makes it difficult for my almost 2 year old to eat with them. We also have no use for the forks at this time but I know will come in handy at some point.
As everyone has already said, yes, the spoons are big but my 3 yr old and 2yr old still use them without a problem. Forks are great, no real need for a knife. Great price even if you don’t use anything but the forks. Colors are great also!
I have been eyeing these utensils for a while now, and today I bit the bullet and purchased them. A few reviewers commented on how big the spoons were, but really how big can a child's spoon really be? Well, turns out they weren't lying. These spoons, are in fact, huge. And are exactly the same size as the teaspoons that came in our Mikasa flatware set. Not a problem for my 3½ year old daughter, but a bit of a struggle for my almost 2 year old son. Aside from that, they seem durable and are definitely worth the price.
These were perfect for my kids. I have a 2 and a 6 year old. They both love that they can use a knife. You don’t find too many durable packs with this many utensils either. I would definitely buy again. The price is so low too.
